High chrome steel grinding media balls: Universal material for ball and roller bearing industry
ASIA Type 52100 Chrome Steel Balls are used in the ball and roller bearing industry and for a variety of automobile applications. These precision high chrome balls have excellent surface quality. They offer superior wear resistance, high hardness and high load bearing capacity as a result of through-hardening.
Our manufacturing and quality systems are certified to IATF 16949:2016 and other international standards, widely recognized by global automotive and precision industries. This allows us to apply strict automotive-level process control to chrome steel balls, high chrome steel grinding media balls, aluminum balls, and other industrial balls, ensuring stable performance batch after batch.
Eurasian has long experience as a chrome steel ball manufacturer, producing high-precision chrome steel balls, stainless steel balls, and carbon steel balls, supported by CQI-9-based heat treatment and advanced inspection equipment. The same metallurgical and process expertise is applied when developing and manufacturing aluminum balls, providing consistent hardness, microstructure, and dimensional accuracy across all materials.

From chrome steel balls (bearing steel, GCr15 / AISI 52100) to stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and special balls, Eurasian can support multiple projects and platforms with one consolidated supply base. This helps simplify supplier management, align quality standards, and reduce total procurement and logistics costs.
Eurasian supplies precision balls for automotive seat systems, wheel bearings, industrial equipment, and other export applications, including chrome steel balls and high chrome steel grinding media balls, through long-term cooperation with overseas customers. Our team is familiar with international documentation, packaging, and inspection requirements, making your sourcing smoother and more predictable.
With established production lines and daily capacity measured in tons, we can support both trial orders and large-volume programs with reliable delivery times. Flexible MOQs, customized packaging, and responsive communication help you introduce chrome steel balls into new projects while controlling risk and lead time.

Chrome bearing steel such as AISI 52100 / GCr15 is a high-carbon, chromium alloy steel that can be through-hardened to very high hardness while maintaining good toughness. It is the most common material for precision bearing balls because it provides excellent wear resistance, dimensional stability, and fatigue life under high load and high speed.
Chrome steel balls are mainly used in deep-groove, angular contact, tapered, and thrust ball bearings, as well as in automotive components, gearboxes, electric motors, and industrial machinery. They are also applied in linear motion systems, aerospace and precision instruments, where high load capacity, low friction, and long service life are required.
Compared with carbon steel balls, chrome steel balls reach higher hardness and provide superior wear resistance and fatigue life for demanding bearing applications. Compared with stainless steel balls, they usually offer higher load capacity and longer bearing life in dry or well-lubricated environments, but with lower corrosion resistance.
Chrome steel balls are not ideal for applications with frequent exposure to water, aggressive chemicals, or where long-term corrosion resistance is critical. In such conditions, stainless steel or ceramic balls are usually preferred to avoid rust, pitting, and premature bearing failure.
Chrome steel balls can be produced in a wide size range, from miniature diameters for small instruments up to large sizes for heavy industrial bearings, often with precision grades from G10 to G100 or according to customer requirements. The exact grade, tolerance, and surface finish are selected based on the bearing type, speed, load, and required service life.
Chrome steel balls are usually the best choice when high load capacity, long fatigue life, and cost-effectiveness are the main priorities in a clean, well-lubricated environment. Stainless steel balls should be selected when corrosion resistance, hygiene, or frequent moisture and chemical exposure are more important than maximum load capacity.
For selection and quotation, please provide the material designation if known (for example AISI 52100, GCr15, 100Cr6), ball diameter, precision grade, quantity, and the bearing or application where the balls will be used. It is also helpful to share operating conditions such as speed, load, temperature, lubrication type, and any special requirements for noise, vibration, or certification.
Chrome steel balls are produced using controlled forging or cold heading, heat treatment, and multiple stages of grinding and lapping to achieve tight tolerances and mirror-like surface finishes. Each batch is inspected for chemical composition, hardness, diameter, roundness, and surface integrity to ensure reliable performance in high-precision bearing and motion applications.
